Steering Group
white rose Conference
focused on Bereavement care, mental wellbeing, and suicide prevention
A Community-Led Initiative for National Change
The National Suicide, Bereavement & Community Well-being Conference is guided by a dedicated Steering Group of community leaders, frontline professionals, and specialists. Our mission is to ensure this initiative remains community-led, solves critical issues in support systems, and provides a platform for often-unheard voices.

Our Purpose
For too long, organisations have worked in isolation, often unaware of the support others are providing. This has created gaps where people fall through the cracks during their most difficult times.
Our goal is simple: To bring these different groups together, share our collective knowledge, and create a "who’s who" of support. By joining the dots between services, we can make sure that no matter who you are or where you live, you can find the right help at the right time.

What We Are Working On
Making sure everyone can attend, whether that means providing BSL interpreters or solving transport issues for those in isolated areas.
Prioritising voices from young people, vulnerable groups, and various ethnic backgrounds so the conference reflects the real face of our community.
Looking at how new challenges—like the impact of the internet and social media—affect our mental health and how we grieve.
Join the Conversation
The Steering Group meets regularly to shape the upcoming conference.
We are actively recruiting new members who wish to define their own involvement and help us bridge the gap in national support.
