How We Support You

Direct Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Support

We focus on the unique challenges faced by minority communities, building resilience and offering culturally appropriate lifelines:

  • Crisis Awareness: Running targeted campaigns focused on BAME mental health and raising awareness of bereavement-related suicide risk.

  • Resource Access: Developing and sharing easily accessible educational materials, delivered in faith-sensitive and culturally inclusive language.

  • Referral Pathways: Creating safe, trusted pathways that connect individuals in distress with professional mental health services that understand their cultural context.

Culture has the power to heal, connect, and transform. Hayat Charity exists to ensure no one in Wales faces hardship, loss, or loneliness alone. Together, we’re building a future where compassion and culture drive change.
